Jesus confidently asserted:
“I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged, but has crossed over from death to life.”
JOHN 5v24
From death to life! Nothing else can do that, only hearing and believing God’s word, God’s living and active word. (Hebrews 4v12)
Yet throughout the world, if the word of God is heard at all, it is often distorted so that Jesus himself is distorted, twisted from the glorious saviour that he is to something far less beautiful, even ugly.
At Living Word International we are committed to equipping the church to teach God’s living word.
Our specific aims focus on teaching those who teach others. The maxim goes: “Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day, teach him how to fish and you feed him for lifetime,” but there is a stage beyond that “teach someone how to teach others to fish; then you feed a whole village for a lifetime!”
We work with local partners throughout the world with the strong conviction that locally led indigenous organisations are the most effective way to fulfil these aims. Partnership agreements provide accountability, and regular contact and visits strengthen these relationships, key to our ministry. A common statement of faith and core values unite us together in our common purpose.
